Alstom and Nomad Digital – a shared vision
On 5 January 2017, Nomad Digital became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alstom.
Alstom and Nomad share a vision to make the Digital Train a reality, and Alstom’s heritage and pedigree in train manufacturing enables Nomad to accelerate the delivery of that vision.
Headquartered in France, Alstom is now present in 70 countries and employs 75,000 people.

With Bombardier Transportation joining Alstom on January 29, 2021, the new Group’s combined revenue amounts to €15.7 billion for the 12-month period ended March 31, 20201 with an industry-leading combined backlog at €71.1 billion as of June 30, 20202.
