Nomad has extended its ISO 9001 certification

press release

(Newcastle upon Tyne, 14 November 2019) Nomad has extended its ISO 9001 certification coverage by completing the final stage of global expansion to cover its APAC region.

Nomad’s three main hubs in Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne are now covered under the certification scope after successful external audits undertaken in Melbourne. All of Nomad’s global hubs (16 offices) are now covered, which was a key objective in 2019, and gives Nomad global alignment to this International Standard.

This provides our local customers in each region and country assurance that Nomad’s services meet this requirement locally and that our global supporting departments, systems and processes are implemented to support that region effectively.

“This is a nice milestone for Nomad to achieve globally, and gives our customer base a level playing field, with all operations globally being independently assessed by our certification body LR (Lloyds Register). Our Global Business Management System (BMS) continues to grow and support all regions. Where necessary locally, we implement specific documentation, processes and applications to fulfil customer and project requirements – all within the scope of our supporting global QHSE systems."

John Mills Head of QHSE Nomad Digital

Nomad’s Health and Safety certification coverage has also been certified for our APAC region, (ISO 45001:2018) further strengthening our assurances to our customers, stakeholders and interested parties.  Expanding this coverage demonstrates our commitment to Occupational Health and Safety and that we have the interests of our people at the heart of what we do.

Every job we undertake needs to be done safely or not at all. Our global operations all follow a safe system of work, for site operations and ensure we have a robust process for carrying out work in depots, stations and in our managed offices.
