Nomad Digital Appoints New Managing Director

(Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, 9th February 2026)

Nomad Digital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alstom and leading specialists in transport connectivity solutions, is pleased to announce that Jean-Philippe Garbit is appointed as Managing Director, effective as of 1st January 2026.

Jean-Philippe joins Nomad Digital from Alstom, where he most recently held the position of Managing Director for Digital & Integrated Systems in the Nordics. Jean-Philippe has extensive experience in the railway sector gained during his 14 years within Alstom where he held senior leadership positions in Signalling and Digital Services.

Jean-Philippe Garbit, newly appointed Managing Director, Nomad Digital said:

“I’m passionate about what Nomad Digital stands for, and I’m dedicated to driving our mission forward. I look forward to working closely with our teams, customers and partners to achieve remarkable success together.”

Emmanuel Henry, outgoing Managing Director, Nomad Digital, and now Managing Director D&IS UK and Ireland at Alstom, said:
