Nomad Digital announced today that Ron Mackintosh, who holds over 40 years’ experience in the IT industry, has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Nomad Holdings Ltd.
The news of Ron’s appointment follows an announcement from Nigel Wallbridge, stating that he will be leaving his post as Chairman, but will still remain an active member of the Board of Nomad Holdings Ltd.
As Nomad Digital’s co-founder and Chairman for over a decade, Nigel was instrumental in starting, developing and guiding a company that has become a global leader in multiple markets across the globe. Ron Mackintosh takes the role of Chairman after joining the Board six months ago. Ron brings in-depth executive and non-executive experience across a number of diverse high-technology based companies, as both Chairman and CEO, already becoming a valuable contributor to the Nomad Board and overall business.
Speaking of his tenure as Chairman and the new appointment of Ron Mackintosh, Nigel Wallbridge said:
“I am proud to have played an integral role in Nomad’s development, as well as see it develop into the leader, innovator and thought-leader it is today. During one of the most fast-paced and exciting periods in Nomad Digital’s history, the Board is certain that Ron’s appointment will further the ambition, knowledge and strategic planning that has been key to Nomad’s growth, culture and success since 2001.”
