Nomad in the United States gets business management boost

(Newcastle upon Tyne, 12 December 2016)  Nomad Digital, the world’s leading provider of passenger and fleet connectivity solutions to the rail industry has recently expanded the scope coverage of its ISO 9001 certification to cover its US operations, based out of its Rockville headquarters.

Following the successful completion of an external audit, completed in Rockville, Nomad’s US operations are now included and covered by their Certification Body, LRQA. Nomad’s customers have the assurance it has an effective business management system in place that meets an internationally-recognised standard for quality management.

This is a clear demonstration that Nomad’s processes and procedures are robust and regularly audited externally, and that it is continually striving to further improve its operations and services. The audit in Rockville builds on Nomad’s scope which already includes its UK and European operations. Nomad is certified to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 and is working towards becoming ISO 14001 certified.
