Nomad Digital, which provides wireless solutions to the transportation sector, has again been listed in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 – making it the only transport technology company to be listed for a third consecutive year.
The prestigious business accolade goes to those UK technology companies having shown significant growth for the last three years.
Nomad gained 52nd place in the rankings announced yesterday, while the previous two years Nomad was positioned 7th and 11th out of the best-performing 100 companies.
“I’d firstly like to congratulate and thank everyone at Nomad for yet another sparkling set of results,” says Haydn Abbott, Nomad Digital’s Interim CEO. “The last couple of years have seen continued growth of annual revenues from £18m to £32m and the doubling of our workforce to about 200 people. I hope everyone will be delighted at the recognition this accolade brings. I extend my thanks also to our rail and bus customers, who’ve all helped make us one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the UK and around the world.”
Other technology companies that have made the grade in previous years include Autonomy, Wonga.com and LoveFilm – but Nomad is one of only 17 companies to have featured in the last three consecutive years.
