Nomad Digital, a leading provider of technology solutions to the global transportation sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Taylor to its Board as Group CEO. Andrew Taylor will join Nomad Digital on the 6th October 2013 when Haydn Abbott, the current interim CEO, will return to his previous position as a Non-Executive Director.
Until recently, Andrew Taylor was Regional CEO of Digicel, the leading provider of fixed and wireless telecoms across the Caribbean, with overall responsibility for their Northern Caribbean operations. In addition to this, Andrew had Group wide responsibility for Digicel’s Business Solutions and ICT activities. Prior to Digicel, Andrew held the position of Group CEO at Intec Telecom, a publically listed software and services business with operations in over 45 countries. In this role, Andrew led the transformation of Intec into a major global player, delivering significant shareholder value through the sale of the business to CSG Systems for $380m. Before this, Andrew held Executive positions at Alcatel Lucent, British Telecom and O2 Germany, where he built a reputation for being an energetic and effective leader and for delivering significant levels of growth and business transformation.
