NOMAD DIGITAL ACQUIRES CM TECHNOLOGY AND CM SERVICE.

Saturday, 1st December 2012

Nomad Digital, the UK-based specialist provider of communication solutions to the global transport sector, is pleased to announce the acquisition of CM Technology and CM Service (“CMT”) (the “Acquisition”).

Founded in 2009 and based in Copenhagen, Denmark, CMT delivers passenger Internet and multimedia passenger information systems, encompassing both on-board and platform based displays that combine travel information, news and advertising.

CMT operates primarily in Denmark, serving the commuter rail market. Its customers include DSB S-Tog service in Copenhagen, Arriva Denmark’s rail services and DSB Oresund trans-border service in Denmark and Sweden.

The CMT operations acquired by Nomad Digital are the technology and support operations that deliver and maintain multimedia and network systems. Commute Media retains an advertising sales operation that is unaffected by the transaction.

Ian McLaren, CFO of Nomad Digital commented

“Commute Media brings a combination of proven expertise in its field of multimedia passenger information, with a ready-made specialist product team that knits perfectly with Nomad’s strategy of offering a full range of real-time solutions to transport operators.”
