Nomad Digital, the global leading provider in wireless connectivity solutions to the transportation sector, has appointed Dr Alfred Pilgrim as its Group Chief Technology Officer.

Alf joins Nomad from Clearswift Ltd, an IT security solutions vendor, where he had held the position of Chief Technology Officer since 2008.

Holding over 30 years’ experience in technology and product planning, as well as a solid track record in the successful delivery of R&D operations for a variety of enterprise and venture capital funded organisations – Alf will play a pivotal role in Nomad’s product and technology development, also joining the group’s Global Leadership Team.

Speaking of Alf’s appointment, as well as his role within Nomad – Group CEO, Andrew Taylor, said “It’s essential that Nomad’s leading research and development keeps ahead of the rapid commercial growth that the company has experienced in recent years – Alf has a superb track record in building and maintaining the innovative technology road maps required to meet this challenge, so I’m delighted to have him playing a key role within the Nomad team”.
